I carry out all repairs and alterations - from simple fixes like holes and tears, adding buttons and zips, and fixing gaping necklines, through to creating a new garment from scratch.
How to Make an Order
If you would like me to refit, rework, or repair your clothes please contact me for a quote. All requests will be considered.
Generally, a price and a turnaround time will be agreed and then I will collect, or you will drop off your items. Please note - there are limits to where I can pick items up from. There are no distance limits if customers are bringing items to me.
Please make sure all items have been laundered before collection/drop off. Unwashed clothes will not be worked on.
Turnaround time is usually one to two weeks depending on the alteration and availability. If an alteration is needed more quickly, let me know and we can discuss it, I’ll always try to fit you in.
Pricing
My prices are calculated based on an hourly rate, additional components (zips, fabric, etc.) as well as the complexity of the work required. For a general guide refer to the pricing page. Prices for bespoke items, and customised or reworked items will vary.
If you order multiple alterations to a single garment, the price will based on an hourly rate for the entire garment plus any additional costs (fittings, or components). This will be clearly described in the quote.
Fittings
A fitting may be needed for complex alterations, customisations, and bespoke work and there will be a £15 charge if one is required. A fitting will not be required for most alterations. Normally, you will be asked to pin the alteration or provide measurements and photos and I will provide instructions about how to do this.
Additional Components
Additional charges might be applicable where specific fabric or zips or other components are required. The ordering of such components may increase the turnaround time needed. Additional time and cost will be clearly described in the quote.
All payments are taken through PayPal. You will not need a PayPal account.
